PROJECT FOR TOURIST SIGNS IN THE TOWN OF VERBANIA

Over the last few years, the town of Verbania has seen the return of tourism from northern Europe, and the need to provide greater information has become an important and compelling requirement for future developments of the area.

This project for new pedestrian signs systems from the need to identify and give prominence to places of interest to tourists in the town of Verbania.

The signs use a colour code that is eye-catching but not gaudy, to help them stand out amid the already numerous signs that crowd tourist places.

The existing maps have been completely redesigned and updated, also to include a system of symbols indicating places and routes.

The signs carry a description in 4 languages of the place indicated, and maps to direct tourists to the places of interest nearby. Furthermore, signs have been created with a general map of the region, which have been placed at the main tourist arrival points.

The supporting structure has been made using a square ā€œCā€ profile in aluminium, which has high dimensional stability and is resistant to atmospheric agents.
